Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a Japan-only "PETRONAS Green Edition" of the A45 AMG hot hatchback.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a Japan-only "PETRONAS Green Edition" of the A45 AMG hot hatchback.

The limited-run model was created to celebrate the oil company's involvement with Mercedes-Benz's Formula 1 team and is based on the Edition 1 variant. It has been configured with an AMG aerodynamic package with a Cirrus White exterior paint adorned with green graphics and carbon fiber mirrors.

It also comes with black multi-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels with green accents that are also found on the front splitter. A similar green detailing can be found inside the cabin on the steering wheel, seats, door sill plates, paddle shifters, gear shifter and on the air vent bezels.

Mercedes-Benz has announced production will be limited to 30 units and all will be sold in Japan with the standard 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.
