Chevrolet has accidentally revealed the 2015 Corvette Z06 will have 620 bhp (462 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque.

Additional information is limited but the model has been rumored to use everything from a turbocharged / twin-turbo V8  to a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8. Several pictures of an LT4 V8 engine have also surfaced with rumors of it being supercharged.

Regardless of what engine is used, the 2015 Z06 will be significantly more powerful than its predecessor which produced 505 bhp (377 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. In fact, the new Z06 will be closer to the ZR1 which had a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that developed 638 bhp (476 kW) and 604 lb-ft (818 Nm) of torque.

The 2015 Corvette Z06 will be unveiled on January 13th, so stay tuned for full details.
