Dozens of official pics with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class have hit the web, ahead of a very probable online debut on Monday.

This time it's a more significant leak as we get to see the new C-Class in a lot of pics showing once again the car will mix styling cues from its larger brothers. Overall, the car looks significantly more refined and elegant than the outgoing model thanks to a tastefully sculpted bodywork, a prominent front grille and stylish lights.

According to latest rumors, the new C-Class will be 100 kg (220 lbs) lighter than its predecessor thanks to the use of more aluminum body panels and the switch to a Modular Rear Wheel-Drive (MRA) arhitecture. Its wheelbase is expected to be stretched by 8 cm while engine choices at launch will include a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbo with 157 HP (115 kW), a larger 2.0-liter turbo with 186 HP (136 kW) and a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel rated at 170 HP (125 kW).

Inside the cabin customers will have the option of configuring their C-Class with an 8.4-inch screen, a head-up display and a touch-controlled pad. The AC system will work together with the GPS in order to close the air recirculation flap whenever there is an incoming tunnel.

Expect the new C-Class to be revealed in full on Monday.
