It looks like Skoda is working on more than just an Octavia four-door coupe as Autocar is reporting the company is also developing an Octavia Scout.

It looks like Skoda is working on more than just an Octavia four-door coupe as Autocar is reporting the company is also developing an Octavia Scout.

Based on the Octavia Combi, the Scout is expected to be an off-road inspired wagon that follows in the footsteps of the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack. As a result, it is expected to feature plastic body cladding, ruggedized bumpers and a 20mm increased ride height.

Engine options will likely carryover from the standard model and an all-wheel drive system should be optional.

If luxury is more your thing, you'll be glad to know designers are working on a range-topping Octavia Laurin & Klement edition. Little is known about the model but it is expected to feature xenon headlights, LED taillights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The model could also be equipped with premium leather seats, wood trim and a bespoke instrument cluster.
