BMW has released a video teaser for the 2014 M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe which according to latest rumors will be revealed on Thursday.

Following months of anticipation, BMW is finally ready to unveil the all-new M3 and the first ever M4. As most of you know this by now, the M3 will be a sedan while the M4 moniker will be reserved for the coupe and convertible body styles. The sedan and coupe will probably be shown online in a couple of days prior to their public debut programmed for January at NAIAS in Detroit.

The latest M products will be powered by a TwinPower Turbo inline-six 3.0-liter engine rated at around 430 HP (316 kW) and 500+ Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. Previous spy photos have shown the M3 will be offered with an optional carbon fiber roof which should help the sedan weigh less than 1,500 kg (3,306 lbs). As for the M4 Coupe, its design has already been previewed by a concept shown earlier this year at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
