Kia is introducing in United States a special edition of the 2014 Soul called "Red Zone".

Drawing its inspiration from the 2012 Track'ster concept, the first special edition of the all-new Soul is based on the Plus trim and can be distinguished by its white exterior paint scheme and a more aggressive body kit. The white paintjob is complemented by red accents on the front grille, side skirts and both fascias, while the 18-inch alloy wheels are exclusive to this model.

Under the hood is a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter gasoline direct-injected (GDI) engine delivering 164 bhp (122 kW) and 151 lb-ft (205 nm) to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Inside the cabin there are black cloth seats with red stitching, black leather dash hood, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport pedals and black carpeted floor mats with red piping. A red hue was also applied on the console tray trim, dash speakers, air vent rings and on the shift knob ring.

Production of the 2014 Kia Soul Red Zone will be limited to 2,000 units and deliveries are programmed to start in the first quarter of 2014.
