"Premier global investment and advisory firm" La Tene has announced on its official website they have placed a bid to acquire troubled Nürburgring.

About a week ago the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) offer for purchasing Nürburgring was rejected so naturally a second bid has been received. This time it's from a global investment and advisory company called La Tene who - according to their official website - have placed a 275M EUR bid to acquire the 'Ring.

It is a considerably higher amount of money proposed taking into account ADAC's offer was for a "double-digit million (EUR) sum." Just like ADAC, it seems La Tene only wants the "German Race Track Nürburgring" so they are probably not interested in acquiring the theme park and all related commercial facilities.

More details have emerged about La Tene. It seems the bid is just on paper because the investment company will pay the sum only out of the profits of running the track. In other words, the bid doesn't stand a chance of being approved so the 'Ring is once again up for grabs.
