Citing GM vice president of global design, Ed Welburn, Car & Driver says the GS lineup could be expanded into include a Verano GS and a LaCrosse GS.

Nothing is official but both models would likely receive a sport-tuned suspension, high-performance brakes and larger alloy wheels. We could also expect some minor styling changes if the Regal GS is any indication.

The magazine says the Verano GS could use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 250 bhp (186 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque, while the LaCrosse GS could have an upgraded 3.6-liter V6 with 321 bhp (239 kW) and 275 lb-ft (372 Nm) of torque.
