B&B has infused even more power in the menacing 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus facelift.
The range-topping V10 Plus version of the refreshed R8 is already a seriously powerful and quick car thanks to a FSI 5.2-liter V10 engine churning 550 HP (404 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. However, that didn't stop the tuners from B&B to elaborate an aftermarket kit for the fastest Audi on sale today.
They are offering three power stages that bump output to 595 HP & 560 Nm, 610 HP & 570 Nm and to 628 HP & 585 Nm sent to the wheels through a dual-clutch S-tronic seven-speed gearbox. These serious power hikes were achieved by modifying the ignition and injection systems, remapping the ECU, as well as redoing the air ducts and intake channels. B&B also mounted a stainless steel racing exhaust system and bespoke carbon fiber air filters.
While the standard Audi R8 V10 Plus needs 3.5 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 km/h), B&B's version will do it 0.3s quicker on its way to a top speed of 204 mph (328 km/h).
Other changes include an adjustable racing chassis (from -20mm to -40mm lowering) and 20-inch alloys wrapped around in 235/30 R20 front and 305/25 R20 rear tires. Lastly, the aforementioned exhaust benefits from a valve control system featuring remote control and the sound can be adjusted in four stages.
