Ford has released the first teaser image of the 2015 Mustang.
The image doesn't reveal much, but the model is expected to have an evolutionary design that borrows cues from the Evos concept. Previous spy photos have shown it will have a prominent grille, slender headlights and a flowing roofline. We can also expect an upgraded interior with higher quality materials, revised switchgear and metallic trim.
Engine options remain unconfirmed but choices are expected to include a 3.7-liter V6 with 305 bhp (227 kW) and a 5.0-liter V8 that develops 420 bhp (313 kW). There could also be a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder that develops anywhere from 275 bhp (205 kW) to 310 bhp (231 kW).
The 2015 Ford Mustang will be unveiled simultaneously in six cities - including New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona; Shanghai, Sydney and Dearborn, Michigan - on December 5th, so stay tuned for full details.
