The sound of the 5.0-liter V8 engine growling as it speeds round the corners is quite appealing. It is said to be making use of 543 bhp (405 kW) that will enable a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in less than five seconds.

The chassis is getting a little treatment with a sportier suspension setup and Brembo brakes while the exterior is beefed up with a little more aggression.

The new Range Rover Sport RS could be shown as early as the Los Angeles Auto Show next week, although the Detroit Show in January is also a possibility.
