The Los Angeles Auto Show might be getting all the attention but Volvo has confirmed plans to introduce the S60L at the Guangzhou Motor Show on November 21st.

Already in production at the company's Chengdu plant in China, the S60L will be a long-wheelbase model that has been specifically tailored to the Chinese market. Volvo didn't have much to say about the model but the first S60L rolled off the assembly line last week and featured a Seashell exterior.

According to Lars Danielson, Senior Vice President of Volvo Cars China Operations, “The official start of series production in Chengdu is only the latest of many milestones we have achieved in recent years. Helped by our strong product portfolio, our highly competent organization in China is determined to book many more successes in the future and the outlook for Volvo Cars in China is indeed very bright.”
