Dodge has introduced the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker at the SEMA Motor Show. It featues satin black accents, a body-color grille surround and a "shaker" hood.
Dodge has introduced the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker at the SEMA Motor Show.
Drawing inspiration from the 1970 Challenger R/T, the special edition features satin black accents, a body-color grille surround and a "shaker" hood, The model also has a gloss black fuel-filler door and 20-inch aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires.
The cabin comes nicely equipped with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a “K-Black” painted instrument panel and an individually-numbered dash plaque. There's also Nappa leather sport seats and an aluminum pistol-grip shifter.
Power is provided by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that has been equipped with a Mopar cold-air intake, a conical air filter and optimized air box. The model has also has a sport-tuned suspension, a "driver-selectable sport-mode powertrain calibration" and the Super Track Pak that includes a new steering gear, upgraded brake lines, monotube shock absorbers and a three-mode electronic stability control system.
The Challenger R/T Shaker will go on sale early next year and pricing starts at $36,995.
