Ford together with KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his wife (actress Shannon Tweed) have introduced a custom 1956 F-100 Snakebit in Las Vegas at the SEMA show.

The classic truck comes with a high-performance exhaust system and borrows styling cues from classic Shelby Mustangs. Power comes from a Ford Racing supercharged V8 5.4-liter engine delivering 550 bhp (410 kW) to the 20-inch rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.

The vehicle's wheelbase has been stretched by five inches while the headlights and sequential taillights are custom-made. On the front axle it sits on 18-inch alloys and inside it gets two-tone leather upholstery as well as handmade panels. Also custom-made are the armrests and the knobs on the dashboard which has been wrapped around in leather. The same material is found on the bench seat which was contoured to mimic the look of a Shelby Mustang interior.

The 1956 Ford F-100 Snakebit will be auctioned next year by Barrett-Jackson and all proceeds will go to a children's hospital in Shannon Tweed's hometown in Canada.
