The crowning glory of the S-Class Coupe range is set to enjoy the flavors of AMG's 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine coupled with a 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT sports transmission system. Power output is set to be rated at roughly 585 bhp (436 kW) which should return a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of around four seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The design is derived from the pre-production S-Class Coupe concept that was shown to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. While the standard version of the range will get a very similar look, the range-topper will be treated with more aggression and an array of AMG goodies.

It is pretty well hidden on the prototype in this spy video, but the quad exhaust layout and large front bumper with swelled air intakes cannot be missed.

Expect to see the production Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe make its debut in 2014.
