Jaguar's first ever crossover was revealed in concept form in September during the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. The C-X17 will eventually morph into a production version but it's unlikely we will see it before 2016. Until then, we can take a glance at the conceptual interpretation of the crossover which rides on the firm's all-new iQ [Al] aluminum monocoque architecture.

The vehicle sits on massive 23-inch alloys which probably won't make it to production, while the cabin adopts a full-length center console, four bucket seats, a hi-tech infotainment system with 12-speaker Meridian sound system along with a delightful full-size panoramic roof. Interestingly, the car also incorporates two "leisure seats" in the boot which can swing out for "recreational use."

The Jaguar crossover which will reach dealerships will be available with a variety of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, but there will probably be a more potent version packing an eight-cylinder version since the car was designed right from the start to host a larger motor.
