Alfa Romeo has delivered the first 4C Launch Editions to customers at a special ceremony at the Balocco Test Center in Italy.

The customers come from across Europe - Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy - and were treated to an exclusive driving experience with Alfa Romeo test drivers and 1993 DTM champion Nicola Larini.

As we have previously reported, the 4C Launch Edition is available exclusively in Alfa Red or Carrara White and comes equipped with a carbon fiber body kit, Bi-LED headlights and 18- / 19-inch wheels with a dark finish. The model also has leather / microfiber sport seats, an individually-numbered plaque and red contrast stitching on models with an Alfa Red exterior.

Like the standard model, the Launch Edition has a 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 240 HP (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 250 km/h (155 mph).
