Land Rover has introduced the 2014 Range Rover L long wheelbase ahead of the car's public debut scheduled for Dubai Motor Show (5-9 November).

While the standard model is 5 meters long, the LWB edition measures 5.2 meters in length and brings a 140mm increase in rear legroom. The increase in length has enabled the rear seats to recline to 17 degrees which is 8 degrees more than on the standard model. The "L" version will have powered side door blinds and a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment along with an increased stowage capacity.

"L" will be available for the Vogue, Vogue SE, Autobiography and Autobiography Black models, as well as for the Hybrid version starting next year. The aforementioned Autobiography Black will sit on top of the range promising to provide an interior "carefully crafted and tailored to meet customer needs with subtle but distinctive exterior detailing". In addition, Land Rover says this version of the Range Rover will offer "the highest quality leathers and materials" and will come with two exclusive sets of seven-spoke 21- and 22-inch alloys featuring a high gloss polished finish.

Deliveries of the 2014 Range Rover L will kick off next March.
