Today we bring an additional batch of spy photos depicting the second generation of the BMW X6.

Set to be slightly larger yet lighter than the current model, the new X6 is likely to carry many of the styling cues seen on the recently unveiled third-gen X5 but with the same love/hate coupe-like roofline. As on recent BMW models, the headlights and grille will be connected to one another while the cabin will probably be a lot like what we have seen inside the X5.

Chances are the engines will be borrowed from the X5 so there will be a 450 HP V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo, a 258 HP 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter and a 381 HP 6-cylinder tri-turbo 3.0-liter motor. The lesser models will feature steel springs while upper-spec variants will benefit from a self-leveling air suspension.

Expect an official unveiling in 2014 while a market release will occur sometime around 2015.
