The 2015 Audi TT has been caught undergoing testing in Germany.

Dressed in heavily camouflage, the model has an evolutionary design that closely echoes its predecessor. Despite this, the car has a sportier appearance thanks to angular headlights, a prominent grille and a rakish windscreen. We can also see flared wheel arches and a dual exhaust system.

Engine options remain a mystery but will reportedly include a 1.8-liter TFSI with 180 HP (132 kW) and a 2.0-liter TSFI with output of 220 HP (162 kW) and 300 HP (221 kW). There could also be a range-topping TT-RS with an upgraded turbocharged five-cylinder engine that produces 380 HP (279 kW).

Besides being more powerful, the 2015 TT is expected to be lighter as it will ride on the MQB platform which already underpins the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf VII.
