According to a recent report, Nissan will unveil a Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ competitor at the Tokyo Motor Show.
What Car says the model will be a production-like concept that borrows styling cues from the company's past. That's a little vague but Nissan has reportedly confirmed it won't be a "Z" car.
The concept was reportedly designed to gauge customer reaction to an entry-level sports car. If the results are favorable, the model could go into production with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 197 bhp (147 kW).
The model is expected to be shown alongside another concept which is simply being described as "crazy."
