Reuters is reporting Ford will officially reveal the highly anticipated all-new Mustang in December.

The Blue Oval company will allegedly provide a sneak preview of the new pony car to automotive journalists starting next week at its Dearborn headquarters. As you would imagine, Ford asked the writers involved not to disclose any details about the sixth generation of the Mustang but we assume some juicy details will surface the web.

Reuters mentions Ford will fully unveil the new Mustang in December, several months ahead of the car’s 50th anniversary. Set to be sold globally, the car is expected to get a variety of engines which will include a 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost with 350 bhp (261 kW) and a U.S.-only V8 5.0-liter outputting 450 bhp (335 kW). Ford could also be planning a V6-powered model and a Shelby GT350 rated at "substantially more" than 450 bhp.
