Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley has revealed the company will eventually have a car in every segment.

Hanley declined to go into specifics but told Motoring, "There’s no 30-day fix here – this a sustainable strategy to inject excitement into the brand.”

A lot of that excitement will be provided by the RC coupe which is slated to go on sale next fall. It will be heavily influenced by the IS and have a range-topping RC F variant which could have a 5.0-liter V8 engine with approximately 455 bhp (339 kW).

The website also says we can expect an upscale coupe that will draw inspiration from the LF-LC concept. Previous reports have indicated it could revive the SC moniker and be offered with a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 and a 4.6-liter V8 that develops 500 bhp (372 kW).

Last but not least, the LF-NX concept is slated to spawn a production model that will slot below the RX. Our spies have already snapped photos of the crossover and it is expected to be introduced sometime next year with a variety of four-cylinder engines.
