Renault is introducing an upper-spec Lounge limited edition of the recently facelifted Scenic and Grand Scenic which comes with more goodies as standard.

Both of them are based on the ZEN trim level so they have an electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, cruise control with speed limiter and automatic rain and light sensors. On top of that, Lounge adds a reversing camera, electric mirrors, front/rear park assist, R-Link multimedia tablet (with European mapping) and a video system with two 7-inch screens incorporated on the back of the front headrests.

Other than that, the cars benefits from a Family Pack comprising under-seat drawers, sun blinds, front/rear reading lights, aviation-style folding tables for rear passengers and a child surveillance mirror. They ride on 17-inch rims and come with a satin-finish chrome grille trim and side protective mouldings with chrome strips.

Available until January 2014, Lounge is compatible with the TCe 130 gasoline engine and three diesels: dCi 110, dCi 110 EDC and dCi 130. Pricing kicks off at 27,200 EUR for the Scenic Lounge equipped with the gasoline engine and goes all the way up to 31,200 EUR if you opt for the Grand Scenic Lounge with the aforementioned dCi 130. At an additional cost, the cars can get a spare wheel (120 EUR) and metallic paint (570 EUR).
