AutoWeek has managed to obtain a spy photo depicting the next-gen Mustang's front fascia.

Scheduled to go on sale in April 2014 to celebrate the pony car's 50th anniversary, the all-new Mustang is showing us its front fascia courtesy of a spy photo obtained by AutoWeek. Just like we previously pointed out, the new Mustang will draw its inspiration styling-wise from the Evos concept. Compared to the current generation, the new model's front end will be rounder and will pack a pair of aggressive-looking headlights to show the new Mustang means business.

The sixth-gen Mustang will reportedly lose a minimum of 400 lbs (181 kg) thanks to a new platform called S550 and will be offered in Europe with several four- and six-cylinder engines from the company's well-known EcoBoost family. The four-cylinder is expected to have as much as 300 bhp (224 kW), while the U.S.-spec model will be available with a larger V8 5.0-liter.
