Hyundai and ARK Performance have announced plans to introduce the Legato concept at the SEMA Motor Show.

Based on the Genesis Coupe, the Legato concept features an aggressive body kit that includes modified bumpers, revised side skirts and a rear deck lid spoiler. The car also has an ARK DT-P coil-over suspension and lightweight alloy wheels outfitted with Nitto NT05 tires.

The cabin features an AiM Sports Strada GT steering wheel, Takata Drift Pro LE seats, a digital instrument cluster and a Rockford Fosgate premium sound system.

Power will be provided by a production-based 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine which has been bored out to displace 4.0-liters. It has also been equipped with a 4.0-liter Stroker Kit that includes new pistons, a BC 4340 crankshaft and upgraded connecting rods. The engine has also a lightweight pulley kit, new headers and an ARK air intake. Thanks to all these modifications, the engine will produce 400 bhp (298 kW) and 425 lb-ft (575 Nm) of torque.

According to Hyundai Motor America's vice president of product planning, Mike O’Brien, “The ARK Legato Concept demonstrates the compelling appeal and versatility of the original Genesis Coupe production concept. ARK Performance has taken this original concept and expanded its appeal to the most demanding premium coupe owners at a whole new level.”
