Infiniti and Red Bull Racing have released the third installment of their "Making of an F1 Car" series.

The latest clip focuses on the manufacturing process and the company reveals the RB9 has 6,500 unique parts with 100,000 different components. 70 percent of the parts are machined in-house but the team has 20 milling machines can manufacture virtually every piece of the car if required

While part of the manufacturing process involves making parts lighter, a big aspect remains the ability to make parts quickly while maintaining precision and quality.

Even the painting is done in-house as Red Bull's painters have skills to apply just enough paint to have a smooth finish without adding unnecessary weight.
