Hennessey has released a new video that shows the "first customer-owned" 2014 Corvette Stingray hitting the dragstrip.

According to their testing, the model accelerated from 0-60 mph in 4.15 seconds, 0-100 mph (0-161 km/h) in 9.50 seconds and completed the quarter mile in 12.23 seconds at 114.88 mph (184.88 km/h). This is pretty impressive considering the car was equipped with an automatic transmission and a stock 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 455 bhp (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque.

The only performance option on the car was the Z51 package which includes aerodynamic styling tweaks, an electronic limited-slip differential, a dry-sump oiling system and an upgraded cooling system.
