Cadillac has released a new photo of the 2015 Escalade in which they show the front area of the interior.

The cabin of the firm's flagship SUV is home to premium appointments like high-end hand-stitched leather surfaces combined with real wood trim and upper-spec materials to create an interior which reminds us of the Ciel and Elmiraj concepts. Cadillac mentions the new Escalade will offer the "latest features in luxury, connectivity and safety" and will have enough room to accommodate up to eight people.

The 2015 Escalade will utilize the K2XX platform developed by General Motors which also underpins the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Yukon, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. The fourth-gen model will probably be available upon launch with a V8 6.2-liter rated at around 420 bhp (313 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft). A six-speed automatic gearbox and an optional AWD setup will also be part of the package for what we assume will be a more upscale Escalade priced from above 65,000 USD.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be officially unveiled on October 7 in New York along with a portrait series and a behind-the-scenes clip done by indie artist Autumn de Wilde.
