Hyundai has announced plans to introduce the Yellowcake Veloster Turbo at the SEMA Motor Show.

Jointly developed with the EGR Group, the Yellowcake Veloster Turbo is a night racer that has been specifically designed for "time attack races at night racing circuits."

As the name implies, the car has a Yellowcake exterior with an EGR widebody kit, an LED light bar and DPE lightweight racing wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 semi-slick racing tires.  There's also an ARK coil-over suspension, an AEM strut tower brace and Brembo brakes.

Interior changes are relatively limited but the cabin has Takata racing seats, a roll cage and numerous Katzkin-developed enhancements.

Under the hood, the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine has been equipped with an AEM intake and a MagnaFlow exhaust. This, along with tuning from Bisimoto Engineering, enables the engine to produce 250 bhp (186 kW).

The Yellowcake Veloster Turbo will be unveiled in November, so stay tuned for full details.
