The 2015 Ford Mustang is inching closer to production and Charles Cronley has created some renderings what he thinks the model will look like.

Using spy photos and insider information, Cronley made a 3D animation that suggests the car will have an evolutionary design with a more aggressive front fascia. The model also eschews the “hockey stick” line that has been a hallmark of the current model.

While Cronley acknowledges the rendering isn't perfect - as the rear quarter windows may need some adjustment and Ford is still toying around with minor changes - Mustangs Daily points out he has previously created a "spot-on" rendering of the 2005 Mustang well before its debut.

Regardless of what the car looks like, it is expected to weigh at least 400 lbs (181 kg) less than its predecessor and be offered with a variety of different engines including a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost with 350 bhp (261 kW) and a 5.0-liter V8 with approximately 450 bhp (335 kW). There have also been rumors about an entry-level V6 and range-topping Shelby GT350 with "substantially more" than 450 bhp (335 kW).
