The Opel Meriva facelift has been spied once again hiding its redesigned front and rear fascias.

Opel is about to make some minor styling tweaks to the Meriva compact MPV which should go official sometime next year. Our spy photographers were able to snap a few pics with a prototype wearing camouflage on its front and rear fascias. Expect to see changes in the front bumper, grille, hood, daytime running lights and taillights. There should be some small modifications inside the cabin to keep the model fresh and competitive in a segment where the Meriva has perhaps the most appealing design.

The German marque has recently updated its engine lineup so there should be some updates for the Meriva as well. Chances are the vehicle will be offered with the 1.6-liter CDTI EcoTec engine which provides 136 HP (100 kW) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque.
