The BMW M4 Coupe is inching closer to production as company is conducting a final round testing at Nürburgring ahead of a possible debut at the North American International Auto Show.

Recently previewed by the Concept M4 Coupe, the production model has an evolutionary design which incorporates a number of traditional M styling cues including an aggressive front fascia, aerodynamic mirrors and a bulging hood. The model also has front fender vents, revised side skirts, a carbon fiber roof and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.

Power will likely be provided by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces approximately 420 bhp (313 kW). It should be connected to a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed M DCT Drivelogic gearbox.
