Chevrolet has dropped the top on the 2014 Camaro Convertible at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Extensively updated, the facelifted model has a new front fascia with a revised grille and restyled headlights. The muscle car has also been equipped with a ventilated hood, a decklid spoiler, a rear diffuser and slender taillights.

The interior also receives some minor upgrades including a new steering wheel, revised instrumentation and a new MyLink infotainment system with a seven-inch display.

In Europe, the model will be powered by two 6.2-liter V8 engines. Manual models use the LS3 V8 that produces 432 HP (318 kW) and 569 Nm (419 lb-ft) of torque, while automatic versions have a L99 V8 that cranks out 405 HP (298 kW) and 556 Nm (410 lb-ft) of torque. The engines enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds with the six-speed manual and 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds with the six-speed automatic.

The 2014 Camaro Convertible will go on sale in Europe later this year and German pricing starts at €44,990.
