Porsche has brought to Frankfurt Motor Show the new 911 Turbo S which will go on sale at the end of this month.
The latest iteration of the 911 Turbo S has arrived on IAA scene with a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine outputting 560 HP (412 kW), making it 40 HP (29 kW) more powerful than the Turbo version. Those ponies are sent to all four wheels through a dual-clutch 7-speed PDK which enables the Turbo S to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds before topping out at 198 mph (318 km/h).
It benefits from a four-wheel steering system taken from the 911 GT3 and comes as standard with full LED headlights (with DRLs) and camera-based main beam control. Other important features include a three-stage rear spoiler, 20-inch alloys with hub wheel locks, along with a deployable and adjustable rear wing.
Pricing in Germany kicks off at 195,256 EUR (VAT and other taxes included). The lesser 911 Turbo begins at 162,055 EUR.
