Mercedes-Benz has disclosed pricing information for the 2014 U.S.-spec S-Class which is set to reach stateside next month.

The base S550 model carries a starting price of 92,900 USD (without 925 USD destination charges) and will be the first to go on sale in October. A month later, customers will have the possibility of ordering the S550 4MATIC from 95,900 USD, as well as the range-topping S63 AMG 4MATIC priced at 139,500 USD.

Mercedes-Benz says the new generation brings a 2.8 percent improvement in terms of price/value ratio and comes with a long list of standard equipment such as all-LED lightning, panorama sunroof, rearview camera, keyless start, along with an additional 20 bhp (15 kW).

Mercedes-Benz has announced next year will see the introduction of additional body styles and powertrains of the S-Class for the U.S. market.
