Datsun has announced plans to introduce an all-new model in Indonesia on September 17th.
Set to go on sale next year, the mysterious model was developed specifically for Indonesia and will cost less than 100 million rupiahs ($9,000 / €6,900 / £5,800).
Little else is known about the model but Datsun says it will be targeted at "up-and-coming customers who strive to realize the dream of new car ownership." The company also said it will be "modern, attractive, accessible and reliable."
As we have previously reported, Nissan revived the Datsun brand in 2012 to target emerging markets like India, Indonesia and Russia. The company's first model, the Go, was unveiled earlier this year and is based on the Nissan Micra.
