Back in May we shared spy photos of the new Toyota Aygo which is scheduled to come out sometime next year, around the same time when its French cousins will be unveiled as the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107. Seen here are PSA's entry-level models which are expected to be slightly larger than the outgoing model, thus improving cabin room.

The three-cylinder gasoline engine will probably receive a minor power hike from the current 67 bhp (50 kW) output and should also be more economical and with lower CO2 emissions. Chances are the Aygo / C1 / 107 trio won't be offered with a diesel engine but it's not certain at this moment.

All three cars are expected to reach dealerships in the spring or summer of 2014.
