According to a recent report, Cadillac will launch eight new or redesigned models by the end of 2017.

Details are limited but multiple sources have told Reuters that the bulk of the new additions will be crossovers. The redesigned SRX is scheduled to be launched in early 2016 and will reportedly be joined by two additional crossovers in 2017. One will be smaller than the SRX, while the other is rumored to be larger.

As for the rest of the models, the CTS arrives in October while the ELR will be launched in January. The redesigned Escalade will go on sale next spring and will be followed by an ATS Coupe in early 2015. Last but not least, the LTS flagship is scheduled to go on sale later that year.

Interestingly, Cadillac has reportedly delayed plans for an entry-level model that would slot below the ATS. As you may remember, the company hinted at the possibly of a compact car by introducing the Urban Luxury concept at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.
