Kia has released the first images with the Niro compact crossover concept which will be presented at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show.
Kia's latest concept hints at an upcoming B-segment contender "ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity." In other words, it will serve as a preview for a Nissan Juke competitor which will probably come out in a couple of years.
The styling was penned at the company's design studio in Frankfurt under the direction of Kia Europe chief designer Gregory Guillaume. It was conceived specifically for the European market and will feature a new powertrain. Since the car has a dual exhaust along with several green accents on the front grille, mirrors, brake calipers and other areas, it's safe to say the concept will have a hybrid setup.
Full details will be available on September 10 once the car debuts at IAA.
