Automotive News is reporting Subaru plans to show the production version of the strikingly beautiful 2013 WRX Concept in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Previewed by a concept in March at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2014 WRX/STI will allegedly go on sale early next year and only the sedan will be available as Subaru plans on axing the five-door version. Power is expected to come from an uprated 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine delivering a minimum of 265 bhp (198 kW) for the WRX and 305 bhp (227 kW) for the STI.

The same report gives us an idea about what to expect from Subaru in the near future, starting with the redesigned Outback/Legacy programmed for a Q3 2014 release. The XV Crosstrek will be updated mid-2015 for the 2016 model year, around the same time when the facelifted BRZ will be launched. The Forester and Impreza will be updated in 2017, followed by a seven-seat SUV to replace the unpopular Tribeca.
