A Ferrari 458 Speciale was spotted at night on the streets of Barcelona while participating in the making of an official Ferrari video.

It was only last week when we saw the more hardcore 458 at Ferrari's factory in Maranello, and now we take a closer look at the Speciale while shooting a video for Ferrari in Barcelona, Spain. Losing 90 kg (198 lbs) and gaining 35 HP (26 kW), the 458 Speciale comes with Ferrari's most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 engine ever developed.

Compared to the Italia, the Speciale is 0.4s faster in the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run which means it needs only three seconds to complete the sprint. Ferrari says the car has lapped Fiorano in 1m 23.5s so it's 1.5s quicker than the regular model.

The Ferrari 458 Speciale will be officially shown to the public in September during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
