Several photos depicting Nissan's upcoming concept have surfaced the web, ahead of a NAIAS debut in Detroit scheduled for January 2014.

Chances are the concept seen in these low-res photos is a preview for the next generation Maxima set for an unveiling sometime next year as a 2015MY. We already know from Nissan's senior vice president Shiro Nakamura the concept "shows future design direction" so expect some of these styling cues to be carried over on Nissan's upcoming models.

The four-door coupe concept has a sloping roofline and looks quite appealing with its boomerang headlights, prominent front grille and blacked out A-pillars, while the taillights look similar to those on the 2013 Sentra but are considerably sleeker.
