The Supercar Kids managed to grab on camera a Ferrari 458 Speciale which was announced only a couple of days ago.

The meaner 458 was spotted at Ferrari's factory in Maranello ahead of the car's public debut schedule for IAA in Frankfurt this September. It will come with its modified 4.5-liter V8 which now develops an impressive 605 HP (445 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque, making it Ferrari's most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 ever designed.

While the 458 Italia has a dry weight of 1,380 kg (3,042 lbs), the Speciale has gone through a significant 90 kg (198 lbs) diet. The less weight & more power combo allows the supercar to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3 seconds (0.4s faster than Italia). Aside from being quicker in the sprint, the Speciale will lap the Fiorano test track in 1m 23.5 seconds which makes it 1.5s faster than the regular 458.
