Set to be unveiled later today, the concept has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille that is flanked by LED-infused headlights. Moving further back, we can see a bulging hood, ventilated front fenders and aerodynamic mirrors. There's also a carbon fiber roof, revised side skirts and 20-inch alloy wheels. The sporty styling continues out back as the model is equipped with a carbon fiber rear diffuser and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.
The latest batch of photos wasn't accompanied with performance specifications but the model is expected to use a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops approximately 450 bhp (335 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque. This could enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
BMW's press conference kicks off at 6 pm PDT so stay tuned for full details.
