Cadillac has quietly announced plans to introduce the 2015 Escalade in New York City on October 7th.

The company didn't have much to say about the model but suggested it will make a "bold, evolutionary statement." That's not much to go on but the teaser images suggest it will have CTS-inspired headlights and plenty of chrome trim.

As we have previously reported, the Escalade will likely ride on a modified version of the platform that underpins the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Engine options remain unconfirmed but the most likely candidate is the company's new 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 that develops approximately 420 bhp (313 kW) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque.

The 2015 Escalade will be launched next spring, so expect to learn more in the coming months.
