Audi is celebrating the 500,000th production milestone of the TT with a special edition TTS Competition which will be sold in only 500 units.

Audi is celebrating the 500,000th production milestone of the TT with a special edition TTS Competition which will be sold in only 500 units.

Available in Nimbus Gray and Imola Yellow, the TTS Competition rides on 19-inch rims shod in 225/35 tires and comes with an Impulse leather interior package featuring a steel gray finish with Imola yellow accents. There are also aluminum badges on the door trims, a leather multi-function steering wheel, xenon plus headlights and magnetic ride damper control system.

Powering the coupe and roadster TTS Competition is a 2.0-liter TFSI delivering 272 HP (200 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. When mated to the six-speed S tronic the coupe will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.3 seconds or 5.5s with the manual. The TT S Coupe S tronic will return 30.5 mpg US (36.6 mpg UK or 7.7 liters / 100 km) and 29.7 mpg US (35.6 mpg UK or 7.9 liters / 100 km) with the manual.

As for the TTS Competition Roadster S tronic, this will do 29.7 mpg US (35.6 mpg UK of 7.9 liters / 100 km) and 29 mpg US (34.8 mpg UK or 8.1 liters / 100 km) when configured with the manual. Roadster S tronic does 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds or 5.7s with the manual. All versions have an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

Production of the Audi TTS Coupe and Roadster Competition will start in October.
