Infiniti has announced the G37 will remain on sale in United States until mid-2015.

Even though the all-new 2014 Q50 was designed to replace the G37, Infiniti has decided to sell both models for a while. To differentiate the two, the G37 is going to be available only in the Journey trim level with a V6 3.7-liter engine linked to a rear-wheel drive setup (from 32,550 USD) or an all-wheel drive arrangement (from 34,150 USD). At an additional cost, the G37 can be had with Premium and Navigation packages.

As for the 2014 Infiniti Q50, it kicks off at 37,605 USD for the base model equipped with a V6 3.7-liter or from 44,855 USD once you opt for the Hybrid version which has a V6 3.5-liter engine, a 50 kW electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.

Even though Infiniti announced a new nomenclature for 2014MY onwards, the G37 will retain its moniker until mid-2015 when it will be phased out.
