VATH has prepared an insane power kit for the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake which lifts output to 846 HP (622 kW).

The German superwagon has a V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine which normally produces 557 HP (410 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque when fitted with the optional AMG Performance Package. These numbers would be more than enough for most of us, but the tuners at VATH considered there is room for improvement.

Available for a steep 46,172 EUR, the power upgrade increases engine output to 846 HP (622 kW) and an impressive maximum torque of 870 lb-ft (1,180 Nm) which will be enough for a top speed of around 217 mph (350 km/h). These impressive numbers are attainable thanks to a modified turbocharger, a custom cooling system, software optimization and a downpipe system.

VATH is also offering 20mm front / 40mm rear lowering springs, front-axle six-piston calipers with 405mm brake discs, 20-inch alloys with 265/30 ZR 20 front and 305/25 ZR 20 rear tires and carbon fiber front spoiler plus rear diffuser. The same lightweight material is used on the inside for the vent surrounds, door panels, dashboard and other surfaces. The tuner has also installed a sports steering wheel and a 360 km/h speedometer to match the added oomph.
