The Jaguar XS has been spied for a second time wearing the body of the XF, ahead of a scheduled 2015 launch.

It will be Jaguar's entry-level model designed to compete with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3-Series and the Audi A4. The prototypes seen here were spotted testing in the Alps and at the Nürburgring and we can easily tell these are smaller than the XF as they have shorter doors and a different roof line.

Internally known as the X760, the XS will probably ride on Jaguar's Premium Lightweight Architecture (PLA) and will most likely be available with a range of turbocharged four-cylinder and supercharged six-cylinder engines.

The same platform will be utilized for a new crossover with all-wheel drive named XQ or Q-Type which will be out after the baby Jaguar sedan is launched.
